Ein ausgefüllter Arbeitstag für mich, ein besonderer Tag für die Kinder. Warum? Es ist Donnerstag und es gibt für alle das gekochte wöchentliche Ei zum Frühstück. Genüsslich und Stolz verzehren die Kinder diese Köstlichkeit.

Am Abend wird dem Schuloberhaupt der kirchlichen Schule mein Höflichkeitsbesuch abgestattet. Leider musste der Leiter kurzfristig weg, so hat mich sein Adjudant durch die riesige Internatsschule geführt. Fast 1.000 Schüler wohnen hier und wirden in den Oberstufen unterrichtet. Eigentlich unglaublich diese Schülerzahl, vor allem, wenn man das Hügelland als vermeintlich dünn besiedelt vermeint.

A busy workday for me, a special day for the children. Why? It's Thursday, and we all are having our weekly boiled egg for breakfast. The children devour this delicacy with relish and pride.

In the evening, I pay a courtesy call to the head of the church school. Unfortunately, the headmaster had to leave at short notice, so his assistant gave me a tour of the huge boarding school. Almost 1,000 students live here and are taught in the upper grades. This number of students is actually incredible, especially considering the hilly region is supposedly sparsely populated.
