Meetings und Transfer am späteren Nachmittag nach Rwaza.

Dort befindet sich ein Hauptstandort von F4K mit Volksschule mit guter Verpflegung (Frühstück und Mittagessen), Schneider-Berufsschule für junge Mütter, Kunsthandwerkstatt, Bibliothek mit Freizeitangebot, kleine Landwirtschaft zur Selbstversorgung mit dabei sind auch 30 Hühner.

Das alles wird mit Spendengeldern aus AT finanziert, in überschaubaren Umfang gibt es Spenden von der DE und USAID. Die Spendenzusagen von USAID mussten aufgrund des erratischen Verhaltens von Präsident Trump und seiner Berater von der US-Botschaft zurückgenommen werden. So viel sind also Zusagen wert. Apropos Deals, mein Deal mit F4K ist, dass ich mir Flug, Essen und Getränke an den Wochenenden und meine Ausflüge selbst bezahle, während ich für Transfers, Unterkunft und Essen und Getränke während der Woche nicht aufkommen brauche, weil ich bei den Einrichtungen mitessen darf. Dafür bringe ich mein berufliches Know-How ein. Ob es eine Weiterführung nach meiner Rückkehr geben wird, wird gemeinsam beraten. Ich sehe alles sehr positiv.

Meetings and transfer to Rwaza in the late afternoon. There is a main F4K location with a primary school with good meals (breakfast and lunch), a vocational tailoring school for young mothers, an arts and crafts workshop, a library with leisure activities, a small self-sufficient farm with 30 chickens. All of this is financed with donations from Austria, and there are manageable donations from Germany embassy and USAID. The donation pledges from USAID had to be withdrawn by the US embassy due to the erratic behavior of President Trump and his advisors. So that's how much pledges are worth. Speaking of deals, my deal with F4K is that I pay for my own flight, food and drinks on the weekends and my excursions, while I don't have to pay for transfers, accommodation and food and drinks during the week because I can eat at the facilities. I bring my professional know-how to the table. We will discuss together whether there will be a continuation after my return. I see everything as very positive.
